Privacy Policy
Together doesn't collect your wedding plans. They stay on your devices and in your own iCloud. This policy covers the Together: Wedding Planner app for iPhone, iPad and Mac, and this website.
Who is responsible
Together is made by Elvijs Rascevskis, an individual developer, who is the data controller for the website contact form described below. For any privacy question or request, email together@elchewski.com or use the support form.
The app
The app does not collect any data. I don't run accounts, analytics, advertising, tracking or crash reporting, and I can't see what you enter.
- Your plans (weddings, guests, budgets, vendors, payments, tasks and attached files) are stored on your device. If you're signed in to iCloud, they sync to your private iCloud storage through Apple's CloudKit, so they appear on your other devices. Apple's privacy policy covers iCloud.
- Sharing a wedding. When you share a wedding, the people you invite through iCloud can see and edit that wedding, including its files. You can stop sharing or remove people at any time.
- Reading quotes. Text from quotes and contracts you choose to read is extracted and interpreted on your device, using Apple's on-device Vision, PDFKit and Foundation Models frameworks. It isn't sent to me or to any other server.
- Purchases. The unlock is sold through the App Store. Apple processes the payment, and I don't receive your payment details.
- Deleting your data. Deleting a wedding in the app removes it from your devices and your iCloud. You can also manage the app's iCloud data in your device's iCloud settings.
This website
The website uses no cookies, analytics or third-party scripts, and loads no external fonts. The web server keeps short technical logs (time, page and response status) without IP addresses, to keep the site running.
The support form
When you send a message through the support form, I receive:
- your email address and message
- your IP address and browser type (user agent)
- the time it was sent
I use this only to reply to you and to protect the form from spam and abuse. The legal basis is taking steps at your request and my legitimate interest in answering support questions and keeping the form safe (GDPR Article 6(1)(b) and (f)).
Messages are stored in a database on a server I operate. A copy of your email address and message is also sent to me as a notification through Telegram, a messaging service whose servers may be outside the European Economic Area. Your information is not sold or shared with anyone else.
Retention: support messages are deleted automatically 12 months after they're received.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the data I hold about you, or ask me to correct or delete it. You can also object to how it's used. Email together@elchewski.com and I'll reply within one month. If you're in the EU or EEA, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
Together is meant for adults planning a wedding and isn't directed at children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
